As you might have noticed, I didn’t post anything yesterday and I can almost hear the collective sigh of relief! LOL I know it’s been some heavy stuff lately so I can’t blame you for wanting a break.
It was a pretty good day, especially for me on a weekend. Andy and I had company and that’s always nice. (
Thank you, my friend.) I think the rain we’ve finally gotten has also been so good for the soul. The two afternoon Florida thunderboomers that we have so desperately needed seemed to kind of wash away some of the darkness.
So since I’ve had my Mom and my sister on my mind so much lately, I thought I’d give my sister the chance to speak for all three of us through her poetry that she was so proud of… and with good reason. I posted a different poem of hers on my homepage this morning and someone asked if she could share it. As I told her, if it touches you and you’d like to either keep or share it, I know for sure that she would be honored. And so would I.
